He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rasmusson and Olga Rasmusson (Peterson); his son Richard Allen; his wife Norma Carrick Guttormson; his daughter-in-law Deena; his son Ronald Rasmusson; and his stepson Michael Guttormson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Wanda Bassen (Bill) of Litchville, ND and Ruth Larson (Dan) of Valley City; his grandchildren, Richard, Jr., Michael Rasmusson of Park River, ND, Kelly Rasmusson of Grafton, ND and Autumn Cascone of Fargo, ND; and his stepdaughters, Sara Thurn of Wishek, ND and Cindy Barnhardt of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
