He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Veil and Bertha Veil (Kubler); his wife Ina Anderson; and his siblings, Meinhardt Veil and Viola Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Twila Bergeron (Tyrone) of DeForest, WI, Jonathon Veil-Newcome (Robert) of Martinsburg, WV, Michael Veil (Tamra) of Coon Rapids, MN and Rebecca Johnson of Aberdeen, SD; his grandchildren, Ashley Bergeron Gagnon (Alex), Zachary Bergeron, Ryan Veil (Allie), David Veil (Katie), Monica Rader (Ben), Derek Johnson and Athena Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, August, Asher Veil, Nora and Thea Gagnon.
