He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary Riske and Leona Riske (Korynta); his brothers, Ronald and John; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Bayne and JoAnn Riske; and his nephews, Jeff Bayne and Carl Riske.
He is survived by: his cousin Jim; his wife Bonnie Riske of Forest River, ND; his sons, Michael Riske (Carrie) of Grand Forks, ND and Luke Riske of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Jersey Riske, Jack Riske and Ian Riske; his siblings, Patty Willson (David), East, Mary Ann Bayne of Belpre, OH, Kathy Common (Rodger) of Mesa, AZ, Butch Riske (Julie) of Grand Forks, ND and Chris Langowski (Vernon) of Grand Forks, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Merrie Dunlop, Wayne Olson of Williams, MN, Gail Babinski of Grand Forks, ND, Ed Olson of Drayton, ND and Shelly Reynolds (Don) of Edmore, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Forest River Cemetery, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Ardoch, ND, the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND or any other charity would be appreciated by the family.
