With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waina Marie Helland of Fordville, North Dakota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Linstad; her daughter Christa Helland; and her brother Chris Linstad. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Linstad (Close) of Fordville, ND; her husband Gary Helland; her daughter Britta Jelinek (Jay) of Fordville, ND; her siblings, Kelly Kroke (Kevin) of Fargo, ND, Tami Omdahl (Robin) of Fordville, ND and Casey Linstad (Nicole); and her sister-in-law Karen Johnson of Minnewaukan, ND.. She is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins survive along with brothers and sisters-in-law.
Social Distancing and face masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
