With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Whaley (Fordville, North Dakota), who passed away on March 12, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Whaley and Rachel Whaley (Gillespie); his sisters, Elda Mae Whaley and Marjorie Hodena; and his brothers-in-law, James Hodena, George, Tom Amundson and Robert Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Amundson; his children, Leslie Durkin (Raymond), Kent Whaley (Debra) and Lowell Whaley (Lesa); his grandchildren, Eric (Kristine), Brent Durkin (Kayla), Ryan (Jacy), Shane (Jocelyn), Jack Whaley, Kirsten, Nicholas and Karina Whaley; his great grandchildren, Brecken, Hayden and Cora Whaley; his sisters, Maxine Rusten (Kenneth) and Joyce Clark (Ron); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Amundson, Dorothy Amundson and Margaret Woods; and his niece Linda Mayfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
