With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Lee O'Neil of Fordville, North Dakota, who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Hildre and Leland O'Neil; his in-laws, Sam and Gladys Thuen; his siblings, Louise Haugen (Palmer), John O'Neil (Lona) and James O'Neil (Evy); his brother-in-law Emory Solie; and his nephew Larry Haugen.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Matt of Fordville, ND and Katie Dukart (Kelley) of Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Adam, Noah and Stella Dukart; his pet Finn; his siblings, Joan Solie of Minneapolis, MN, Pat Robertson (Roger) of Lincoln City, OR, Bob (Jo Rae) of Maple Grove, MN and Tom of Mansfield, PA; his siblings-in-law, Don Thuen of Portland, ND, Gary Thuen (Shirley) and Barb Thuen of Portland, ND; his granddaughters, Lily, Sela Roshau, Jenny and Carlson; his sisters, Heather, Courtney, Corey and Callie; his goddaughter Carly Peterson (Trevor Knudson); his friend Justin Bell; and also Cassie (James).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fordville Lutheran Church (220 Main St, Fordville, ND 58231). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
