It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Jallo of Fordville, North Dakota, born in Cleveland, North Dakota, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Jallo and Olga Jallo (Wiste); his siblings, Clarence, Orvin, Arnold Gilbert, Alden, Gene, Marvin, Gladys, Ruella, Lyla, Edith and Baby Geraldine; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Jallo.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Dahlen of Fordville, ND; his children, Donald Jallo (Delilah) of Portland, ND, Darrell Jallo (Debbie) of Fordville, ND and Denise Becker (Bradley) of Inkster, ND; his grandchildren, Jamie Burken (Erik), Jessica Kelley (Taylor), Travis Jallo, Jason Jallo, Kacie Capp (Dominic), Kyle Becker and Kayla Becker; his great grandchildren, Orrin, Jasper Kelley, Emmett and Eli Burken; his brother Albert Jallo (Marge); and his sisters-in-law, LaVonne Jallo and Dorcas Schmidt (Lloyd). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Quale Lutheran Church or the Lankin American Legion.

“My condolences for your loss. My mother, spoke often of the Jallo's. Mom, Irene, was one of the Moen sisters. Mary & Thorbin Moen, parents, were related. When I was a child, met many women at the Ladies Aid meetings, both at church (I was baptized @ Quale, MaryKay Sorensen) & Mary's (my grandmother) home. Remember always feeling special to be allowed in their presence of the ladies. As our world shrinks may the memories & connections bring you happiness. God bless & keep you.”
