He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Brandenburger and Ruth Brandenburger (Siewert); his daughter Tava Ullmeyer; his sisters, Inga and Gloria; and his brothers-in-law, Louis, Art and Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Judy McFarlane; his children, Ivy Lunbery of Nebraska, Kyle Brandenburger (Margie) of Florida, Sheila Brauer (James) of North Dakota, Melba Richards of Texas, Mancel Brandenburger (Lori) of North Dakota and Eva Bishop (Craig) of Colorado; and his sisters, Iris Steinwand, Norma Martin (David) and Nina Lee Selze (Norman). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 step children, 5 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren.
