He was predeceased by: his son Ross William Meyer; his parents, Carl Meyer and Louise Meyer; his siblings, Walter, James, Ray, Marjorie, Carol and Florence; and his grandsons, Austin and Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Lavila; his children, Shelly Lippert (Tom) of Hays, KS and Christie Scholl (Ken) of Peyton, CO; his grandson Tyler Patzner (Brittney); his children, Travis Patzner (Kayla), Taylor Patzner, Briony Janisse (Justin), Karna Prime (Brandon) and Trina Nipe (Matthew); his grandchildren, Michelle Rader, Chelsea Moore (John) and Cameron Lippert (Kelly); his siblings, Doris Klatt of Menomonie, WI, Henry Meyer (Janet) of Flasher, ND, Robert Meyer (Ilene) of Max, ND, Arnold Meyer (Sharon) of Kindred, ND and Lori Andrews (Doug) of Rapid City, SD; and his cousin Mary Jane Scherf of Wales, WI. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren; his seven bonus great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
