He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Luther and Edna Luther (Romine); his daughter-in-law Judy; and his siblings, Aaron David, Irma Mae Stewart, Arden Glen and Charles Lee Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Borstad; his children, Mark Luther, LeAnn Momerak (Phil) of Minot and Michael Luther of Minot; his grandchildren, Nicole Brown (Mike), Sarah, Brenden and Chassis; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Quinn, Audrey and Bradley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of the Life of Wes Luther: (Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Restriction) will be private at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot.
Upon his retirement he was named Professor Emeritus and received the University Alumni Association's Golden Award in 2010 and established the Wes Luther Athletic Scholarship Endowment through the MSU Development Foundation in 1991.
