She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Lara and Jose Lara; her son Ricky Santiago; her grandson Cody Santiago; her siblings, Richard Lara, Jose Lara Jr., Roberto Lara, Sandra Lara, Angie Posos, Maria Paz and Corinna Dominguez; and her nephew David Lara.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Santiago of Fargo and Gerald Santiago of Lidgerwood; her grandchildren, John Kukert Jr., Lucien Santiago Fargo, John Kukert III, Mason Kukert, Abdurahman Kukert, Zaynab Kukert, Lilith Santiago, Evy Kountz and Benjamin Kountz; and her sister Evalyna Acosta (Jimmy Valdez).
