She was predeceased by: her parents, Norin Korsmo and Hilda Korsmo (Hovland); her husband Ing; her son Luther Berdal; her siblings, Joseph Korsmo, Peder Korsmo (Beatrice), Alvin Korsmo, Solveig Strand, Norin Korsmo, Dolores Korsmo and Lenore Meland (Wes); and her in-laws, Erick Berdal (Dorothy), Fred Berdal (Marian) and Leonard Berdal (Marlys).

She is survived by: her children, Karen Shephard (Lyle) of Crystal, ND, Alan (Darla) of Knoxville, TN, David (Allison) and Fargo; her grandchildren, Kali Luecke (Danny), Thomas Shephard (Samantha), Lisa Aipperspach (Andrew), Kari Berdal, Emily Berdal, Hannah Berdal and Benjamin Berdal; her great grandchildren, Kamila, Eliza Luecke, Selah, Shiloh Shephard, Silas and Ruby Aipperspach; her brother Richard Korsmo; her sisters-in-law, Mary Korsmo and Joan Korsmo; and her stepgrandchildren, Randall (Anni), Maddy, Jack, Elly and Will Kenninger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
