He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E Olson and Grace Olson (Jothen). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Leyland; his children, Emily Hatch (Erik), Maggie Hartmann (Eric), Jerilynd Leyland, Michael Leyland, Mikayla Leyland and Madison Leyland; his sisters, Liz Kroschel (Rich) and Janet Olson (Dave Wisdorf); his brothers-in-law, Gerald Parker and Gary Parker (Shar Sitter); and his grandchildren, Finley, Simon Hatch, Miles, Jack and Malia Hartmann. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and many extended family.
Tom held this position until a series of unfortunate health issues beginning with COVID began to negatively impact his life.
