She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Rue and Lillian Rue (Hagen); her husband Victor Gelking; her sister Jackie Rogers; her stepgrandson Jared Cunningham; and her nephews, Scott Bertils and Garrett Rogers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Roger Rue (Linda) of Kent, WA, Elaine Bertils (David) of Fertile, MN, Gordon Rue (Sharon Karr), Larry Rue of Crookston, MN and Pamela Tiede (James) of Cottage Grove, MN; and her stepdaughters, Debra Cunningham of Surprise, AZ, Vicki Holler of Fargo, ND, Sherry Carpenter of West Fargo, ND and Nancy Naylor (James) of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
