With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Berg of Fargo, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rasmusson (Bill) and Ethel Rasmusson (Basford); her brother Douglas Rasmusson; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Papachek and Ivan Berg.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Berg; her children, Eric Berg (Erika) of Kindred, ND, Ellen Shafer (Rod) of Fargo, ND and Alaine Berg (Noble Baker) of Marathon, TX; her grandchildren, Julianna, Ida, Oskar Berg, Ethan and Angus Shafer; her siblings, William "Chip" Rasmusson (Sharon) of Arlington Heights, IL and Stella Papachek (Keith) of Devils Lake, ND; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Berg (Ivan) of Fargo and Ethel Rasmusson of Fargo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In leiu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to NDSU Bison Strides Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies Program.
