She was predeceased by: her parents, John Otterson and Inga "Mabel" Otterson; her husband Alvin Nygard; and her siblings, Milo (Marcella), Clifford (Ruth), Sidney Otterson (Janice), Ann Stern (Don), Irene Wagner (Ray), Alice Creely (John), Edna Latsch (Woodrow) and Norma Otterson.
She is survived by: her children, Karla of Park River, ND, April of Moorhead, MN, Teresa of Fargo, ND, Debbie Ulstad (Ryan) of Madison, MN and Peter (Lisa) of Maple Grove, MN; her grandchildren, Matthew Ulstad (Abbie), Rachel Clark (Jordan), Rebekah Nygard, Ruth Nygard and Hannah Nygard; and her great grandchildren, Oslo, Bergen Ulstad and Emmeline Clark. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
