He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Potter and Arietta Potter (Sandvold); his son Donny Potter; and his brothers, Dick, Lowell, Gary and Gene Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Potter (Witt) of Fargo; his daughter Tabitha Potter of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Rebecca Seibel (Jacob) and Nevaeh Potter of Minneapolis, MN; his brother Gale Potter (Kathy) of Flasher, ND; and his brother-in-law Charles Witt (Betty) of Fargo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home (215 7th St S, Fargo, ND 58103).
