He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Grenz and Lydia Grenz (Schock); and his siblings, Bill, Jake, Ed, Wally, Fred, Erma Grenz, Tillie Hoff, Mathilda Roberts, Ruth Fisher, Esther Kringler, Helen Christensen, Irene James and Edna Sheldon.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Bradley (Susan) of Fargo, ND, Robert (Carol) and Ryan (Danielle); his grandchildren, Sarah Albright (Jordan) of Hiawatha, IA, Matthew Grenz of Colombus, OH, Amanda Olauson (Shane) of Valley City, ND, Rochelle Grenz of Fargo, ND, Hailley Grenz and Cody Grenz of Valley City, ND; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Teagan, Calvin, Oakley and Myles; and his sisters, Annitha Plecity of Valley City and Anne Myers (Jack) of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
