He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Anderson and Jessie Anderson (Barron); his wife Marlys Hauge; his daughter Signe DeSautel (Skippy); his grandsons, Louis Anderson and Luke Larson; his son-in-law Mike Messelt; his stepfather George McCann; his brother Edward Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Lillian Hauge.
He is survived by: his children, Bunnie Johnson Messelt, Kristi Larson (Jeff) and Mark Anderson (Pam) of Jamestown, ND.; his grandchildren, Katie Fischer, Heidi Lang (Jason), Jared DeSautel (Nicole), Matthew Johnson (Sandy), Jeremy Johnson (Randi), Megan Johnson, Bill Anderson (Whitney), Josh Pulst (Amber), Brandon Pulst, Haley Larson and Molly Olson (Chad); his great grandchildren, Riley, Lauren, Nora, Thomas Johnson, Drew, Keeley, Jillian Lang, Adrian, Kingston Fischer, Faye Anderson, Chase and Charley Olson; his brother Frank McCann of Grafton; his son-in-law Tim DeSautel; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His body will be donated to UND Medical School.
