He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Norheim-Medler; his siblings, Betty Lerud of Detroit Lakes, MN, Enola Mattson of Detroit Lakes, MN, Sheila Moberg of Detroit Lakes, MN, Tyrone (Ann) and Lucille Hennings of Hawley, MN; and his pets, Missy and Tiger. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
