It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Dunn Burgess Jr. of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dunn Burgess, Sr. and Louise Roland Burgess; and his siblings, Patricia Socher, Mary Lyman and Richard Burgess.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hamm Burgess; his daughters, Cheryl Burgess-Burghardt (David) and Suzanne Jackson (Brent Hall); his grandchildren, Peter, Madeline Burghardt, Sam Jackson and Naomi Heineman (Cody); his great grandchildren, Teddy and Carolyn Burghardt; and his siblings, Sandra Pebley (Bud), Judy Johnson and Dennis Burgess (Annebeth). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association and Disabled American Veterans.
