She was predeceased by: her father Robert Schmidt; her husband Ernie; her in-laws, Eugene and Evelyn Howe; and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Howe and Jeff Pfarr.
She is survived by: her mother Mildred Schmidt (Tallman) of Ashley, ND; her siblings, Deb Ryberg (Rick) of Jamestown, ND, Val Nelson (Dave) of Jamestown, ND, Eileen Pfarr of Jamestown, ND and Bob of Fargo; her siblings-in-law, Gerald Howe (Carolee) and Julie Smith (Russ) of Florida; her niece Kiara Larson (VJ) of Moorhead; and her nephews, Justin Schmidt (Whitney) and Ryan Schmidt (David Raba).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center (321 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
