It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Gilbraith of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Toad" Gilbraith and Blanche Mary Gilbraith (Link); his siblings, Marjorie Koch, June Braaten, Sylvia Gilbraith, David Gilbraith and Glenn Gilbraith; and his grandson Calvin Armbrust.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jane" Gilbraith; his children, Steven (Mary Beth Burggraff) of Isanti, MN, Brian (Cheryl) of Billings, MT, Kim Armbrust of Fargo, ND, Kelly Stone of Tulsa, OK, Joseph of Fargo, ND and Lisa Van Dyke (Keith) of Maple Grove, MN; his grandchildren, Jamie, Shannon, Joshua, Jordan, Adam, Benjamin, Andrew, Matthew, Erin and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Everett, Evelynn, Gavin, Gabe, Lucy, Andrew G. Emily, Zoe, Lena and Maeve; and his great great grandchild Charlie.
Due to the service being held at a later date, in lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested at this time.
