We bid farewell to Mary Josephine Harsy (Fargo, North Dakota), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Mary Josephine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harsy and Agnes Harsy (Kaiman); and her sister Jane F. Smith. She is survived by: her nephews, James (Cathy), David and Tom (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ben, Clint, Zachary, Allison, Lorelei and Ryan; and also Stetson.
Interspersed with the years of her teaching career were her eight years serving as Research Coordinator for a sub-section of the DeRance Foundation in Milwaukee; at the time, the largest Catholic philanthropic foundation in the world.
