He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nelson and Juneth Nelson (Haugen); and his brother-in-law Dennis Stormoe. He is survived by: his wife Kay Marilyn Benson of Cass Lake, MN; his sister Vicky Stormoe Sunderland (Don) of Fargo; his niece Kristen Bullis (Jim) of Fargo; his great-nephew Ian (Marissa); and his great-nieces, Katherine and Claire Bullis of Fargo.
