He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pieske and Ethel Pieske (Gode); his wife Joyce Pieske; and his brothers, Lawrence Pieske and ElRoy Pieske.

He is survived by: his children, Curtis Pieske (Missy) of Wadena and Karen Tierney (Art) of Pillager; his grandchildren, Lincoln, Mack Pieske, Carolee and Caitlyn Berneking; and his siblings, DeLoss Pieske of Lake Wilson and LaDonna Stock of Granite Falls.
