It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loretta M Olafson of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Heise and Laura Heise (Kraemer); her husband Roy Olafson; her grandson Troy Fellbaum; her brothers, Lloyd Heise and Eugene Heise; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Olafson, Leeland Olafson, Torger Syvertson and Hariett Syvertson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Fellbaum (Daryl) of Rock Springs, WY, Colleen Nelson (Bruce) and Judith Dobbins (John) of Fargo; her brothers, Curt Heise (Mae) of Muscoda, WI, Harvey Heise (Rosemary) of West Fargo, ND and Willis Heise; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Heise of Valley City, ND and Arlene Heise of Cooperstown, ND. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
With Dorothy Rosman's patient help, she knitted a hat and blanket for each great-grandchild, gifts for her family, and warm hats to donate to shelters.
