While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Samson and Meranda Samson (Nelson); her husbands, Hubert Penas Jr. and Richard Schaefer; her grandson Jarrod Meagher; and her siblings, Lou Samson and Betty Jean Samson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Meagher (James); her granddaughter Ilea Kapler (Brandon); her great grandchild Teela Meagher; her sister Dorothy Stevens; and her sister-in-law Diane Bjerke (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tollefson Funeral Home (154 W 12th St, Grafton, ND 58237). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
