He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Darling; his children, Erik and Kiernan; his brother-in-law David Smith (Colleen); his nieces and nephews, Leo and Norah; his sister-in-law Megan Redl (Erik); his nephews, Alexander and Brady; his niece Virginia; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Smith; his sister Christa Bjordahl; his niece Deborah; his sister Margaret Darling; his nephews, Andrew and Michael Schafer; and his niece Jennifer Linville.
