We bid farewell to Joe Ruliffson of Fargo, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Joe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ruliffson and Margaret Ruliffson (Ranes); and his brothers, Paul (Mary) and Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Pauls; his children, Nancy Nelson (Joe Wavra), Barbara Erbstoesser (Mark), Loree Zuther (Jon) and Brian Ruliffson (Cheri); his grandchildren, Brent Nelson (Megan), Kyle Nelson, Lauren Nelson, Andrew Zuther, Paige Erbstoesser, McKenzie Zuther, Joseph Ruliffson and Benjamin Ruliffson; his great grandchildren, Ivy, Eva and Ana Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Ruliffson and Russell Pauls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (619 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102).
Joe was involved in both farm and social organizations within his community and made significant contributions to the agricultural field.
