He was predeceased by: his parents, Laritz Nissen and Hazel Nissen; his sister Alice Haus; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Kluge and Jason Severson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Tiffany (Rhett Halberg) and Johnathan Nissen; his grandchildren, Layton and Stetson; his siblings, Daryl (Holly), Linda Veflin (Russel), Ronald (Jayne), Margaret Anderson, Lucy Kadoun (Bruce) and Kathy Kluge; his brother-in-law Duane Haus; and his pet Waylon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
