She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Giere and Beatrice Giere (Johnson); her siblings, Shirley (Jim TeBrake), Celeste (Leroy Whitehead), Sherry Mulvaney and LuAnn Janssen; her nephew Scott Whitehead; her niece Camille Knox (Trisha Janssen); and her brother-in-law John Knox.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Knox; her children, Thomas Knox, Timothy Knox and Robyn Woyte (John); her grandchildren, John Knox, Stephen Woyte, Grace Woyte and Sophia Woyte; her brother Daniel Giere (Nancy); and her brothers-in-law, Monty Mulvaney and David Janssen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
