He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Westby and Genevieve Westby (Haarstad); and his brothers, Gene and Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Christopher Westby, Marc Westby (Abby) and Michelle Thornton (Chase); his granddaughter Charlotte Westby; and his siblings, Rick Westby (Annette), Judy McGilvrey, Jane Olson (Stu) and JoAnn Westby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home (215 7th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
