It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helma Alvira Mitchell (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell James Mitchell; and her sisters, Ann, Dorothy, Ruth, Marilyn, Jean and Orpha.
She is survived by: her son Jim (Kelly) of Boerne, Texas; her grandchildren, Kelsey Golden (Brian) of Boerne and Dakota (Maggie) of Boerne, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Charlie Rose Mitchell, Wyatt Golden, Willow Helma Mitchell, Bowen Golden and Everett Mitchell; and her nieces and nephews, Paula Colarusso, Jessica, Elizabeth, Jann, Shawnie, Sheri, Marsha, Barbara, Matt, George and Kenny.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorials be made in Helma's name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Fargo or to the Fargo Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Fund.
