It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Elmer Sittig of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Harlan Elmer find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sittig and Edna Sittig (Nussbaum); and his grandson Cory Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Joelyn Sittig; and his children, Todd Sittig (Becky), Marty Sittig (Carrie), Chad Sittig (Valrie), Kristi Kellen (Curt) and Karla Winandy (Ryan). He is also survived by grandkids; and 7 great-grandchildren.
