It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Scott Fisher of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Fisher and Verna Fisher (Scott); and his siblings, Robert, Franklin Fay and Nina Nash.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bakke; his children, Susan Wee (David) of Fargo, ND, Steve Fisher of Minneapolis, MN, Nancy Fisher of Fargo, ND and Charles Fisher (Zhao Ping Zhu) of El Monte, CA; his granddaughter Kate Score (Jesse) of Fargo, ND; his daughter Luna Zhu (Thomas Lane) of Findlay, OH; his great grandchild Elliott Score; his brother Neil Fisher (Marge) of San Francisco, CA; and his sister-in-law Peggy Fisher of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
