With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Loren Woodward of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Woodward and Gladys Woodward (Stoddard); and his brother Gail Woodward. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Woodward; his children, Diana Johnson (Richard), Sandra Christianson (Kevin), Susan Berndt (Craig) and Scott Woodward (Karen); his stepchildren, Staci Birrenkott (David) and Matthew Ellison (Stefanie); his grandchildren, Joe Christianson, Alex Christianson (Johanna), Sam Christianson, Tom Christianson, Tyler Woodward (Melissa), Michael Woodward (Laura), Robert Woodward (Veronica), Cathrine Gilbertson (Shane), Carrie Christensen (Jamie), Stephen Johnson (Mandy) and Jordan Berndt; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Birrenkott, Joshua Birrenkott, Drew Birrenkott, Beckett Ellison and Landyn Ellison; and his sister-in-law Shirley Woodward. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Veterans Honor Flight of North Dakota and Minnesota.
