He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Quam and Bess Quam (Anderson); his wife Lois Quam; his siblings, John, Donald, Wilbur, Richard, Robert and Patricia; and his daughter Jane Quam Warren.
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Quam (Bonnie Dudovitz); his grandchildren, Emily Warren (Andrew Vogel), Jaime Dudovitz and Sam Dudovitz; and his great grandchildren, Tavin Dudovitz, Ezekiel Dudovitz, Micah Sanyi and Mia Jane Sanyi.
Memorials are preferred to the Fargo Air Museum and First Lutheran Church Foundation.
