With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Robert Harnisch (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harnisch and Wilhelmina Harnisch (Hess); his parents-in-law, Maurice and Roberta Petitmaire; his son John Edward Harnisch; and his sister Margaret Gomez Meany.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Harnisch (Petitmaire); his daughter Brooke Harnisch; his son-in-law Daniel Roberts; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Michael Verbic; his grandchildren, Owen, Luke Roberts, Elizabeth Harnisch, Michael and Grace Verbic; his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Petitmaire and James Charton; and his nephews, Christopher Charton, Michael and Richard Gomez.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations and memorials be made to Sanford Health, Vibra Hospital, 4 Luv of Dog Rescue or Homeward Animal Shelter.
