She was predeceased by: her parents, James Baker Heaslip and Margaret Martinez Heaslip; and her brother James Perry Heaslip. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Brennecke Christy and Jennifer Brennecke Gerarve; her husband Thomas Moore, MD; her brother Robert Samuel Heaslip; and her stepchildren, Erin Elizabeth Moore, Kelley Kathryn Moore Jarecke and Thomas A. Moore, Jr.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

After her retirement she did volunteer work with RSVP then put most of her energy in the Fargo Public Library and was a member of the Friends of the Fargo Public Library.
