She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Chivers and Selma Chivers; her sister Lilian; and her grandson Robert. She is survived by: her husband Herb Kappel; her sons, Brian Kappel (Ev) of Fargo, John Kappel of Dickinson, James Kappel of Missoula and Michael Kappel; her sister Marilyn Anderson (Washington); and her grandchildren, Kristine Kappel (Ben Gembler) of San Diego, Patrick Kappel (Grace) of San Diego, Liz Kappel of Mandan, Ben Kappel (Dani) of Mandan, Andrea Kappel of Dickinson and Rob Kappel (Lucy) of Fargo.
