He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schur and Esther Schur (Heiden); his wife Marilyn; and his siblings, Robert, James, Ken, Betty Jane Schur and Mavis Levin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Schur (Steve Bethke) of Fargo and Kimberly Todhunter (Steven) of Golden Valley, MN; his sister Bernice Wadeson of Moorhead, MN; and his grandchildren, Connor Schur Linnerooth, Jordan and Samantha Todhunter.
In lieu of floral pieces, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
