He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thoreson and Doris Thoreson; his wife Mary Lou; his brother Duane; and his sons-in-law, Mark Kierstead and Saucedo.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Hasz (Herb), Joan Saucedo, Pam Thoreson (Aleta Wegner) and Jay Thoreson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Hilary (Paul), Ted (Kari), Scott, Jacob (Nicole), Joshua (Taylor), Zachary (Emily) and Nathaniel (Rachel); and his brother Lowell Thoreson (Audrey). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
