He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Bud" Pollert and Edna Pollert (Simonsen); his wife Georgine Klever; and his siblings, Mural Pollert, Leona Severson, Lila Lebahn and Phyllis Smedshammer.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Aakre (Dean) of Barnesville, MN, Janelle Evert (Blake) of Madison, WI, Kimberly Coffel (Jason) of Fountain Hills, AZ and Daniel of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Abby), D. C., Kelsey Buchholz (Cory) of Garretson, SD, Elizabeth Aakre of Sioux Falls, SD, Charles Aakre of Barnesville, MN, Benjamin Evert of Madison, WI and Jonathan Evert (Megan Coffel) of Fridley, MN; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Aakre, Colton, Caylix, Coyer and Kenley Buchholz; and his brothers, Clayton Pollert (Virginia) of Onalaska, WI and Ken Pollert (Pat) of West Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
