He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brasel and Elva Brasel (Huwe); his wife Carole Storley; his brothers, Leroy Brasel (Connie) and Gerald Brasel; and his parents-in-law, Glenn Jaakola, Wayne Lako and Alden Selander.
He is survived by: his sons, Duane William Brasel (Vicki) and Daryl Wayne Brasel (Elizabeth "Bet"); his grandchildren, Samson Brasel, Mark Anderson and Logan Anderson; his siblings, Melvin Brasel (Joyce), Doris Jaakola, Viola Lako, Larry Brasel (Linda), Arlo Brasel (Sandy), Eldie Brasel (Carol), Noreen Selander, Connie Bortle (Chuck) and Donna Seifert (Walter); and his sister-in-law Shirley Brasel.
