He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hovden and Ruth Hovden (Nedberg); and his parents-in-law, Gordon and Shirley Brakke. He is survived by: his son Brent; his pets, Gus and Gracie; his significant other Kim Brakke; and his brother Doug (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
