He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Holmgren and Alice Holmgren; his wife Vallie; and his siblings, Darla and Dellwin.
He is survived by: his sons, Brad Holmgren (Susie) of Centralia, WA and Bryce Holmgren (Kim) of Willmar, MN; his grandchildren, Derek (Ariel), Alex, Jessica (Nate), Cole (Dana), Alycia (Weston), Drew (Morgan), Jordan (Anne), Carson, Austin (Megan), Hannah (Erik), Michaela (Lee), Dawson and Landon; his brother Gaylen (Gayle); and his sister-in-law Marlys Holmgren. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (2102 5th St S, Fargo, ND 58103).
