He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis "Ellie" Jaycox and Bernice "Bernie" Jaycox (Rieff); his father-in-law Orland Vikse; his sister-in-law Lynn Vikse; his niece Aimee; and his nephews, Loren and Clark Vikse.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Jonathan "Ivan" Jaycox (Stacy) of Harwood, ND, Andrew "Roy Gilbert" Curtis (Becky) of Fargo, David "Fudd" Jaycox of Franklin, TN, Timothy Jaycox (Cinder) of Fargo and Mari "Jenny" Swanson (Aaron "A. I.") of Lake Norden, SD; his grandchildren, Brynna, Bailey Curtis and Luca Jaycox; his siblings, Jim Jaycox (Lynn), Denny Jaycox (Kristi) and JoDee Shouts (Larry); his mother-in-law Mary Lou Vikse; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Johnson (Paul) and Jim Vikse (Gwenn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service (409 8th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
