He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Peckskamp. He is survived by: his mother Carol Peckskamp; his siblings, Daniel [Jane] Peckskamp and Kathy [Gerald] Munger; his children, Tad [Holly] Peckskamp, Tara [Jim Erving] Peckskamp and Thomas [Sarah] Peckskamp; and his partner's sons, Lucas [Charli], Justin and Josh [Yea] Turner.
Dave received an honorary degree in Horticulture from the North Dakota chapter of FFA for his advocacy and contributions to horticulture in the region.
