He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stensland and Eunice Stensland (Long); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Glo Berg; his brother-in-law Richard Berg; and his nephew Adam Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Berg; his daughter Sarah (Dawn Greig); and his siblings, Peggy Wirth of North Beach, MD, Jeff Stensland of Moorhead and Mark Stensland of Moorhead. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
